About Us
Established in the 1930’s and primarily for the employees of Greenall’s Brewery it consisted of a football and cricket pitch, tennis courts and a bowling green. When the brewery closed in 1991 the majority of the land was sold for housing development and the club bought the building and some land.
In 2019 the remaining bowling green and former tennis court were sold to housing developers enabling the proceeds to be used to completely renovate the club. Completed in 2023 and making it the modern facility of today.
